Electricity Choices

Program features

Duration

The costs for all Stoneham CEA products are fixed for three years and will not change, from November 2020 through December 2023.

Renewable Energy

All Stoneham CEA products include the minimum percentage of renewable energy required by the state. Stoneham Local Green, Premium Local Green 50% and Premium Local Green 100% have extra renewable energy included, above and beyond state requirements.
All extra renewable energy in the Stoneham CEA products qualifies as MA Class I renewable energy. The program sources its extra MA Class I renewable energy from the Green Energy Consumers Alliance. They help make our impact stronger and more local. Learn more about our extra renewable energy and the impact on the region here.

No Penalties or Fees

At any time, participants can do the following without penalty: switch between any product in Stoneham CEA, for example, opt up to Premium Local Green 100%, or leave the Stoneham CEA program and return to Eversource Basic Service.

Eligibility

The price of each Stoneham CEA product is the same for all customer types – Residential, Small Commercial, and Industrial. All residents and businesses in Stoneham are eligible to participate in the program.

Please note: Prices for all products in the Stoneham CEA program include a $0.001/kWh administration fee. Program prices could increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the electricity supply agreement. Program prices apply only to the electricity supply portion of your Eversource electric bill. Delivery charges on your Eversource electric bill are not affected by the Stoneham CEA program.

Products described as Green contain renewable electricity above that required by the Commonwealth. The additional renewable electricity qualifies for MA Class I designation and comes only from solar, wind, anaerobic digestion and low-impact hydro located within New England. Local refers to renewable energy resources located in New England.
